“Dozens of churches have been burned down across Egypt over recent weeks, with more than 40 churches said to have come under attack amid widespread unrest in the country” (Campbell). As Muslims became more powerful in Egypt, they began to believe that they could take over the Christians. Burning of churches, houses, schools and orphanages have taken place during violent attacks. Through the fighting, there have been people of Muslim faith that have stood beside their Christian friends. “That quench the fire of your pernicious rage with purple fountains issuing from your veins!
