In the novel Lord of the Flies William Golding presents the two main characters Jack and Ralph. Ralph the protagonist and Jack, the antagonist have different beliefs that make them completely different and at other times similar in some ways. There are many noticeable changes between Jack and Ralph from beginning to end. Ralph and Jack's similarities and differences shape the different forms of government they are going to form which is civilized civilization for Ralph and savagery for Jack. Both Jack and Ralph have many similarities and differences which led them to develop different forms of governments on the island.
Jack and Ralph have similarities. For example, "I agree with Ralph. We've got to have rules and obey them"(38). Both Jack
