Hero (noun), it means a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. When people hear the word "Hero" they usually think of someone like Spider-Man or Batman. Or some may even think of soldiers or police officers. Heck even people like Martin Luther King Jr. and Abraham Lincoln. Well this isn't gonna be about any of them. This is gonna be about two Greek myth heroes , Perseus and Theseus. The main obstacles that Perseus had to deal with were not having special powers, and then fighting Medusa of course. Theseus had a little bit more to deal with. Theseus had to fight off monsters, horrid weather, and then being down in the Underworld. So it's a safe bet that Theseus won this category, as far as being heroic. Only because he had more obstacles. Really the main obstacles of Perseus was not having any special powers, and not being able to look directly at Madusa. Theseus had monsters and weather and being down in the Underworld as obstacles. So for this argument Theseus was more heroic because, he had more to overcome. As far as leadership goes, neither of them showed any real leadership qualities. Neither of them lead anybody through anything. They were both more or less Lone Wolves. Yeah they may have been brave, heroic, and or strong, but leaders not so much. Maybe role models but not leaders. So neither of them are truly heroes or heroic. Depending on how people view them. People may think Perseus was more of a hero, and people may think that Theseus was more of a hero. In reality they were basically equal to each other. They were no Spiderman, or Army soilder, or anything of that sort, they were just ordinary Greek
