Cassius was once a mortal until one day he angered the wrong goddess. He claimed that his wife and kids are more beautiful than the gods themselves and his small town believed the same. This especially angered the goddess Aphrodite, she took his claim that he has a more beautiful wife and kids very very wrong. She came down from the heavens at night to claim her victims so she can remain the most beautiful object out there. When Cassius awoke that morning to find his dead family lifeless he became furious at the world especially the gods for letting them be killed. He prayed to Ares to strike down whoever had killed his family however, he didn't get a response. Cassius even tried Prometheus to see if he could bring them back but no response. …show more content…
Hades comes up from the underworld to bargain with Cassius. Hades told him that he will bring them back from the underworld but there was a price to pay. Cassius didn't let Hades finish and accepted the deal without knowing what the price of there lives will cost him. The next day Cassius woke up with his family like nothing happened to the poor family. All of the sudden everything starts to fade away and Hades appears in front of him. Hades begins to explain the what Cassius agreed too. His family will live a perfect life and died of natural causes however, his family won't even remember who he is and Cassius isn't allowed to talk to them again. Hades then explains what he has in store for Cassius. He would become a terrible hell spawn of a monster and will be in charge of bringing the souls that escaped the underworld back and he will also help guard and protect the underworld from the living and from the Olympians for eternity. Cassius is the god of vengeance and hellspawn with a variety of abilities and powers. Cassius’s god form is a ten foot tall giant skeleton with hell fire engulfing the body. Cassius has the ability to traverse through the realms of the living, the underworld, and the heavens. He is able to spawn mythical monsters to help aid him with the retrieval of escaped souls or to protect the underworld. Cassius can create weapons and tools from the hellfire that has engulfed him, he is also able to shoot flames from his hands and
