This was terrible time for many, inhume deaths, beatings, burnings, and starvation! Some believe that this really didn’t happen, but most do. These books are very identical. Both books have children, everything effects the children or revolves around them. The first book Night was written through the authors experience. He himself was the main character Elie. In The Boy In The Striped Pajamas the author had a narrator, it wasn’t written through the main characters eyes. Everything that happened in the book happened to, with, or for the main characters, Elie & Bruno. I feel they both went through some of the same things though, both of their lives took a drastic toll on them. Bruno moved and so did Elie, Bruno moved from his home town to a house near Auschwitz and Elie was forced to move to Auschwitz. Bruno’s family was foced not by the Nazi’s but by his father , But Elie was forced by the Nazi’s. One very big difference is that Bruno was apart of a rich family who had everything, Elie was apart of a jewish family. At that time everything began to change for the Jewish. Everything is not similar but very close. There are a few differences, but not many. This was a horrible time, but Elie was definitely my favorite character he never gave up. He by the end had none of his family left and he watched his father die. That never stopped him though. I love his attitude and he was lucky enough to make it out of there alive as many of the Jews
