Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born to parents Martin Luther King and Alberta Williams. Martin was a Baptist minister. He fought for civil rights, equality and no segregation based on race. He wanted his fighting for these things to be non-violent and peaceful. In that result he led boycotts and peaceful Marches. Through these years he suffered lots of depression. On April 4th, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee he was shot and killed.
