Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. had different beliefs that radiated from their childhood and the values that were taught to them . Malcolm X was born into a christian family that resided in Lansing, Michigan. Malcolm’s childhood had started out rough with the death of his father when he was only six years old and his mother being placed in a mental hospital when he was thirteen.
