Similarities Between Macbeth And Bill Clinton

Macbeth was a devout and ambitious soldier in the Scottish army who served his king until the bitter end. Bill Clinton was a deeply religious democrat who brought the crime rate in the United States to a twenty-six year low and played a key role in the development of the modern space program. These two men lived many centuries apart but share many aspects of their lives. Macbeth was a Scottish king who rose to power by murdering the previous king and taking the throne. Throughout his reign he did many questionable things that eventually drove him insane and his subjects started to fear him rather than respect him. Bill Clinton was a United States President who was impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury in a grand jury. Macbeth and Bill Clinton share many similarities but also have many differences in many parts of their lives. From their rise to power to their fall from it. There are many similarities between Macbeth and Bill Clinton in their rise and fall from power that highlights the misdeeds and wrongdoings of people in power. Not to mention the way their people felt about them and the powerful forces driving and influencing them in the background. Macbeth’s people liked him in the beginning but slowly started to fear him and not support him anymore. A king should not rule through fear and deceit and that is exactly what Macbeth did. Bill Clinton always had very high approval ratings with the American people, even through the impeachment process. A survey was done after he left office that determined most Americans did not want him to be impeached. Clinton did amazing things for this country however he had to be held to the Rule of Law just like every other government
