Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are two very unique NBA superstars, both born with difficult life's growing up. These two share a lot of similarities and a lot of differences but these two have also been teammates for a long time, and almost won an NBA championship together. Although these two have been through a lot together, and have been like brothers. Kevin Durant decided to leave Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors, the team who previously eliminated them from the playoffs.
They have a lot of similarities. One is that they are both 28 years old. Also, they were both drafted by the same franchise, the "Seattle Supersonics." Except, Russell Westbrook was drafted a year later, due to wanting

They both have really different body types. Kevin Durant is a quick, versatile, sharpshooting 6'9 small forward. While on the other hand Westbrook is a sort of small, but very athletic point guard who is not known for his shooting abilities. Kevin Durant is a lot more of a scorer than Westbrook as well. Russell Westbrook also passes the ball a lot more than Kevin Durant as the assist show that Russel Westbrook has never averaged under 5 assist in his whole career, and Kevin Durant has averaged much more than 5 assist his whole career. Durant does have 5 scoring titles, while Westbrook only has 1. Also Kevin Durant did something really different that changed his whole career, and that was, joining the Golden State Warriors, a team with other NBA Superstars, and also the team that just eliminated them in the playoffs, the previous season. Russell Westbrook responded in a different way to the situations that were going on in Oklahoma, and he decided to resign another year with the Thunder.
Since then, a lot of drama has been caused, because a lot of Thunder fans have made Kevin Durant the villain of the NBA, and Westbrook has been the hero of the NBA. All around the NBA there has been a lot of controversy between these two. Now, Every time that these guys meet on the basketball court, you can feel this tension between them, like you're apart of it. However, when interviewed both of them have said there is no bad blood between them. It is hard to believe that when they don't talk to each other anymore, and they used to be best
