Apprehension waited among us, as we discussed the facts provided and our opinions added. My parents and I accepted each other’s different view points about the topic, accompanying the ideas we had in common. As result, we came to the conclusion that I would only be participating in one group dance for the competition team; jazz or hip-hop. Picking between these two styles had to be one of the toughest decisions. My gut advised me to continue the style of Jazz because I found it easier with an extent of comfort. Hip- hop would extend further in my dance career, but in the recreational section. Furthermore, this unique form of art depends on my grades and steady schoolwork. Any academics that fall behind, result in the consequence of my opportunity
