So his son, Simba, ran off for around 15 years, and then Nalla found him, and got him to come back to be king again. When he got back, he got in a fight with Scar because Scar wanted to stay king, but in the end, Simba won and Scar died. The movie and the play almost have the same plot, but they are different. In Shakespeare’s Hamlet, The king’s brother, Claudius, killed him because he wanted to be king. When Hamlet found out that it was Claudius, he wanted to get revenge. When he got the momentum to actually murder Claudius, he did. He didn’t get to become king though. Him, Claudius, and 4 others all died at the same time due to a poisoned sword and drink. The ghost told Hamlet how Claudius killed him, and that made Hamlet want to get revenge on Claudius. It was telling him how Claudius killed him with poison. Claudius had killed him because he wanted to be king. Claudius and Scar play the same part, but Scar is in the movie. Mufasa was trying to rescue Simba from a herd of zebras. When he did rescue his son, he tried to get out but he did not survive, he ended up dying because Scar didn’t help him up the cliff.
