Both ancient Egyptians worshipped many gods and goddesses. Each of these gods and goddesses were believed to have a special gift or power to rule the world or life of someone. Greeks and Egyptians were similar they both had the most powerful gods. In ancient Greece the most powerful god was Zeus, He was the god of thunder and skies and believed to be the ruler of all the other gods and goddesses. In ancient Egypt they believed in Horus, god of the sky and protector of the Pharaoh. In both cultures if your family needed help you would pray to the gods and goddesses that you believe would be the best help. Most of the Egyptian gods and goddesses are half animal and half human and Greeks were fully human. The Greeks could be mean, angry, pleasant, cruel, or loving. They fell in love with each other, argued with each other, and even stole from each other. Greeks built temples and sanctuaries to their gods.
