Importance
Both Genesis 1 and 2 set forth the creation narrative which serves to display many key foundational concepts of the Christian worldview from a spiritual perspective.
One of the first concepts shown through the narrative is the sovereignty of God which is displayed through his role in the process of the universe's creation.
