Similarities Between Elijah And Elisha

The portrayals of Elijah and Elisha are both alike and different. Both Elijah and Elisha had a deep faith in God (Tullock & McEntire, 2012). Elijah was a very quite, personal person whereas Elisha was a very outgoing, diplomatic person (Tullock & McEntire, 2012). Both Elijah and Elisha were chosen by God to be leaders and schooled the sons of prophets (Tullock & McEntire, 2012). Elijah was more independent in his teachings while Elisha appeared to be more dependent upon his association with a group (Tullock & McEntire, 2012).
