So Raccoon sported a number of bruises, but still knocked the Nova out with many bruises that would stall his training for a few months. While Raccoon fought with Nova, Deer went to the Lion's Den. He saw another lion cub, Brutus stray from the Den, so he distracted the cubs even more so away from Brutus. Deer led Brutus to a pit covered with a thin layer of dried mud with suspicious sounds and an overpowering stench of Sheep meat from a nearby farmer. The mud pit broke under the cubs weight when he walked on it while following the aroma of Sheep and he fell under the mud into the pit onto a soft pile of leaves that Deer made a few minutes back.“Fear not, this was a task set by my master and no harm will befall you because of this task”. Even though Deer thought Raccoon as a brother from childhood, even though Raccoon had no such feelings. Deer didn’t want Raccoon to fail so he said “Thorn, I see you are chasing Raccoon” Thorn replied “Why were you stalking me, I could see you from the corner of my eyes, Snake see with their tongues and use their eyes less.” Deer exclaimed ”Why wouldn’t I, Raccoon is like a brother to me”. Suddenly Raccoon snuck up on Thorn and Deer and threw himself on both. They both got knocked out and gained many bruises that would hurt. When Deer came their master said “ Look at you covered in bruises while yours cub and hatchling have none, it must be a stroke of luck that you caught them” They listened to what Deer told them, but disbelieved him.
