Charles Lindbergh and Christopher Columbus have many things in common. For example, they were both devoted to accomplishing their journeys. Just think they had to be devoted or they couldn't with take all the stress that must of been involved during their trips. Another thing they had in common in that they were both really great leaders. Even though Christopher Columbus lost some ships he still kept his men together and got to the Americas (“Christopher Columbus”www.history.com). Even if Charles Lindbergh was just a pilot, he still years later was appointed to be a general by the president himself. Another common similarity is that both their journeys happened in the Atlantic(“Charles Lindbergh”www.bio.com). As you can see both of the men had many things in common and were similar men.

Christopher Columbus hoped to find a direct water trade route to Asia, but as we know he never did. Charles Lindbergh hoped to win a contest for $25,000 to fly across the Atlantic. Even though Christopher Columbus did not achieve his initial goal, he still accomplished a great task(“Christopher Columbus”www.weebly.com). Also Charles Lindbergh probably never thought he would be seen in a different light for being the first solo flight across the Atlantic(“Charles Lindbergh”www.history/paris.com). As we all know them for their great task, they probably didn't wake up one morning knowing they would be remembered in history for a very very long time.
