In the books of: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. When Jesus was born, King Herod was the ruler. He was threatened by Jesus, and wanted to kill him. Actually, King Herod wanted all children under the age of two to be killed, which was something the King had to fulfill. Joseph, the Father of Jesus, was aware that King Herod wanted Jesus dead. An angel appeared to Joseph and informed him Jesus would be killed. Once Joseph was aware of the declaration from the King, he and his family then moved to Egypt to be away from the one who wanted Jesus dead. King Herod then died, in which the family then moved back to Nazareth, into the city of Galilee. As Jesus became older, he went on a fast for forty days, and forty nights, preaching “there is a flood coming” though many thought this was a fake parable. Jesus performed numerous amounts of miracles. He fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish, and gave sight to the blind, which are only a few examples of the miracles he performed. Within Jesus’ ministry, he encountered several individuals, which one of them happened to be Mary Magdalene. Mary was not a disciple, although she believed in Jesus’ ministry. Jesus had twelve disciples, which those twelve men sat with Jesus, listened to Jesus, and followed Jesus’
