The Correlation Between Video Games and Childhood Obesity

Recently I moved out of my parents house and my little brother became a big gamer. He turned my old room into his new office/game room. When I go over to my parents house now I notice he’s constantly getting snacks and sodas but never coming out that room which led me to thinking about how unhealthy that has to be for him. I started doing some research on how often obesity in children is starting to occur and the reasons behind it. I found a few articles explaining why video games is linked to childhood obesity and the reasons parents should be aware of this situation.
