To begin with, during childhood, one’s body and mind are growing in a various number of ways. One way a child’s body is changing is through puberty. Puberty is a major transition from childhood to adulthood that most adolescents go through when they are around twelve years old. This transition changes necessary elements in the body which, when combined, develops one into an adult. This is when the difficulties of adulthood start. Also, another change that takes place during childhood is maturity. Everyone matures at their own pace, all just depending on time. Once a child is exposed to a combination of different experiences and is taught right from wrong, a child will progressively mature. While children are growing, adults are aging. During adulthood, many older adults begin to notice their bodies are finally taking a toll. The human body slowly loses strength as one ages, resulting in sore muscles, slower reaction time, and a weaker immune system. Another major change in an adult’s life is going through a mid-life crisis. People tend to have a mid-life crisis when they start to question their life choices. While some adults can prevent a mid-life crisis, more often than not, the majority of middle-age men and women will have to suffer through this unfortunate event. Children have few responsibilities compared to adults because they do not have to take care of themselves. Children’s lives are usually carefree since everything is done for them. Whether it’s being fed, changed, or bathed, during childhood, the child is very dependent upon his or her parents. Children are not aware of the outside world because they have yet to fully mature. This leaves all the burdens to adults who are managing their careers as well as their own kids. Typically during adulthood, many people have a job, get married and have children. These factors all contribute into a massive amount of responsibility, which can make an adult’s life very stressful. If only adults knew to embrace their carefree childhood when they weren’t bound by responsibilities, people would appreciate childhood a little bit
