Similarities Between Aung San Suu Kyi And Oprah Winfrey

The world is facing an apocalyptic event where humanity is petrified at the recent events that have occurred where the emotional and psychological sustainability of humanity is at risk. As a result, it’s vital that we members of “Think Tank” take careful consideration in planning or electing survivors.

After much consideration, I have chosen the following two women, Burmese politician Aung San Suu Kyi and actress Oprah Winfrey as they are crucial to the contribution of the cause and it is imperative that they are ensured their survival. These women both have the aptitude to keep humanity emotionally and psychologically sustained through the current events faced, meaning that they can both make individuals perfect their centeredness and maintain happiness among the worldwide community.

Suu Kyi began speaking out criticizing the military junta where she had democracy and fundamental human rights as a priority in her campaign. She had the audacity to voice and stand opposing the military dictatorship’s rule where she could have easily been thrown into jail. Evidently, this displays that Suu Kyi was willing to sacrifice herself for the benefit of others.

During Suu kyi’s political career, she guided Burma where she was favoured and accepted by her people. Suu Kyi kept Burma emotionally and psychologically sustained by becoming a woman who used her way of language to inspire and give hope, letting Burma grow as a democratic country where she transformed into a symbol of enlightenment, a peaceful resistance in the face of the opposition, an inspiration and a true
