Did you know people show courage every day? In To Kill a Mockingbird Atticus and Calpurnia show courage like my mom. Everyday my mom goes to work teaches me life lessons just like Atticus after work she comes home to make me food and wash my clothes and get me ready for the next day of school which reminds me of Cal’s job. My mom shows strength like Atticus by going to work and helping people, coming home to help me get prepared for school, and having patience when I need help with a problem. Calpurnia is a good example for my mom because they both work my mom works hard to raise me and my sister with manners just like Cal punished scout at the dinner table for not showing good manners. Cal also works hard to have food
