The Greek and Roman governments had a few similarities ,but were still quite different from each other. The social classes of Greece were: slaves, freedmen, metics, citizens, and women. Roman social classes were: slaves, freedmen, plebeians, and patricians. Both of these societies were divided according to their wealth. They both used coinage as their currency to fund the Empire. In Rome a woman could be a citizen while in Greece a women could not. In Greece a woman had to be secluded into women’s quarters and accompanied into public places.
