Twelve Angry Men by playwright Reginald rose’s and Elia Kazan’s On The Waterfront, explores the way in which society’s demand for justice is often not achieved and challengers Citizens to such an extent that they will stand up to fight for what is fair and equal. Such as speaking up for your rights which is demonstrated in both mediums of the text and the film, some people can speak up for what they believe is right but there are some people who are afraid to speak up for there rights. Both the text and film are set in the 1950s in America, which was an unfair time for many people.
