Hinduism and Buddhism are two of the five major religions in the world. They are widely practiced, and have been around for centuries. Like every other religion they both have similarities and differences. In this paper I will show you the structure of each religion and I would also like to show how they compare and contrast.
Hinduism is a very common religion but also there are many that aren’t aware of the foundation of Hinduism. Well it is more accurate to say that no one is totally sure of where Hinduism had originated nor do they know the real founder. The reason behind this I learned on the (Dummies) website is that everything comes from Brahman. It does not matter what god they worship because ultimately it is Brahman. Brahman isn’t the one who rewards or punishs those for their deeds in life. Every soul forms their own rewards and punishments through karma. On the (religious Facts) page I ascertained that Karma rules what a soul will be in the next life, based from a soul 's good and bad deeds they made in life. If a soul has had more good deeds than bad deeds, then they have good karma. Or vice versa. On the website (About religion) I have learned that Dharma is the overall balance of all things living. It has its place to everything, including the world. Everyone is responsible for balancing their dharma. In Dharma these areas that need to be kept balance: that they must keep promises, and stick to their religion, while also taking care of their family. If they dont, then it will affect their karma.
