Academic instructors play a great role in a student’s life at any point of their development in the academic institutions. The instructors have titles based on the level of institutions at which they handle the students. High school instructors are popularly referred to as teachers while the those at the college levels are known as tutors or professors. The tendency of most people to see the two types of instructors as the same is always attributed to the nature of their roles on the student. However, it is important to make a distinction between the two types of instructors by way of outlining their similarities and differences.
Teachers and professor are similar on the grounds that both teach. The two have the roles of delivering some information that takes the shape of knowledge to their students. Teachers play the role of enabling a student acquire the facts and skills in a given field while the college professors play the role of ensuring that the student is able to apply the facts and skills acquired in high school or partially in college.
