Return to Halloweentown versus Twitches Too A drama, family, comedy, and fantasy films can sometimes seem too similar, but both movies have some differences that set them apart from others. Although Return to Halloweentown and Twitches Too are similar in that they both have witches, saving family and friends, and destroying bad people, Return to Halloweentown focus on breaking the curse on the necklace while Twitches Too addresses setting their father free from the dark shadow. The first difference between Return to Halloweentown and Twitches Too is between both dimension having their ups and downs with college and not so normal life. In Return to Halloweentown Marnie is preferred as a Cromwell and feel like the three enemies name the sinister sisters are manipulative her brother Dylan; therefore, she try to protect him. However, in Twitches Too Alex and Camryn are princesses, but their mother Miranda believes that their Uncle Thantos is trying to get the girls to vanquish the spell to release him from the dark shadow making them think that it is their father. Marnie’s saving people are also difference from Alex and Camryn; however, Marnie is very demanding and knows from right to wrong when someone is trying to rule Halloweentown. On the other hand, Alex is demanding, multitasker and a hard-worker, but Camryn is a jealous and fantasy person. In Return to Halloweentown the person Maurice trying to destroy is from the Halloween and is watching her every move, but in Twitches Too Alex and Camryn trying to destroy their Uncle Thantos called the dark shadow that follow them …show more content…
But, that’s where the similarities end. “Twitches Too” concerns their personal and witch life between two twin sisters who try to free their father from the dark shadow that they once though were dead. Moreover, the conception of their life is normal after Alex free their Uncle called the dark shadow. In “Return to Halloweentown,” both witch siblings name Marnie and Dylan go to a University in Halloweentown. Marnie have to save Halloweentown and Dylan from the evil people that is watching Marnie, they couldn’t be more different, since one ends with the main character saving Halloweentown and the other ends with saving castle, destroy dark shadow forever, and getting their father
