People compare and contrast things on a daily basis. I, myself have done this, comparing and contrasting every little thing I can. Being someone who grow up loving Disney movies, I’ve seen all the Disney/ princess films. I fell in love with these kinds of movies so as I grow older I still watch the movie as they came out with new ones. Moana is one of the recent Disney films that reminded me of another Disney film The Little Miranda. Both Moana and The Little Miranda being princesses and having protective fathers makes them alike but what makes them different is their connection with the ocean.jvmvnvxmg

Being that the ocean is a big factor both movies there is to be something that connects the girls and the ocean. Ariel has lived in the ocean and is the princess under the sea, has spent her whole life underwater. Ariel has been surrounded by the ocean and is connected to it because it is her home and the place she grow up. Ariel has a home connection with the ocean. Ariel it’s connected to the ocean because it is her home but we want it is connected to the ocean because it’s her guidance and she is meant to be the protected of the ocean. The ocean since Moana was a little girl has always been connected to her has always been there to guide her. Ocean moved with her ocean played with her the ocean treat her as if she was the oceans family. Moana want nothing more than to just go out to the ocean, well Ariel just want to get away from the ocean.

Moana and The Little Mermaid are two different films with similar features. The two girls aren’t really as different as one may think. Being grounded to the sea for Ariel and the land for Moana is what really splits the two films apart.Both girls want to do something that they shouldn’t do, and both girls still find a way to do what their fathers said not to do. Being that both Moana and Ariel are princess and have controlling but protective father is what makes the two films alike, yet their connection with the sea are two totally different
