The film The Mighty, and the book Freak The Mighty, has a lot of similarities and differences. One difference between the text and the film is after Max and Freak rescue Loretta Lee’s purse from the sewer. In the film, Blade and his friends surround Max and Freak while they try to get away. In the book, Blade and his friends don’t show up. I think that the director put this scene in the movie to show how Max and Freak both get bullied, but together, they are a team. It also shows how wicked Blade and his friends are, because they had already gotten into trouble with the police many times, but they still bullies Max and Freak for their own pleasure. That is one difference in the film The Mighty and the book Freak The Mighty.
