They have had a surge in foreign exchange, however, having tea being one of it's major earners. The country is also the largest exporter of tea and spices.

So, like most cultures, India and China have their differences. Curiously though, they have many similarities, at least in their family life, daily life, and economy. Comparing cultures just shows you many things you hadn't noticed before and bring you to a different conclusion than you would before.
