Ender lives in the future where the human race is at war with an alien race called the buggers. He must leave his family to go train and fight these aliens. Jonas doesn’t have to go far from home to go to his trainer, the giver. Unlike ender he sees his family and friends and isn’t too far from home. He bikes there. Another example is that Ender is a bit more violent than Jonas. On earth Ender had gotten into a fight with a boy and beat him. Again on the space station ender gets in a fight, this time with his team captain. After the fight the team leader is sent back to earth for the amount of damage caused by Ender. He takes role as the new captain. Finally at the end of the book Ender uses the human race’s greatest war machine to exterminate the buggers. He feels guilty and back on a secret human that used to be a bugger planet he finds the queen bugger. And an egg, so he sets off the find any bugger colonies. In the book the giver it doesn’t say anything about Jonas being violent. These actions committed by Ender proves my point, Ender and Jonas have different personalities. Ender has violent tendencies, after all he is trained to be a warrior . Jonas isn’t violent, he sees his family during his training and stays near by. Ender doesn’t speak to his family for months and sees his sister briefly. Then he is sent to a top secret base, that is light years away from earth, he is no longer allowed to see his family or return to earth because he’s been there. In conclusion Ender travels far far awar from his family, with no friends, and has violent tendencies. Jonas stays near his home sees his family daily, along with his friends. And isn’t a violent

At a young age, Ender was recruited into Battle School to learn how to fight the buggers and he did so well that he became the best commander and moved up to Command school to control the simulator. When he was fighting in the “simulated games”, he was actually fighting real buggers and was in real battles, but he didn’t find this out until every bugger was killed. Ender Wiggin: The Innocent Weapon In Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card, Ender is a very controversial character. Many people believe that he is a killer with a violent spirit, and that he meant to commit genocide, while I disagree. I believe that Ender has an innocent spirit, a friendly conscience, and was repeatedly used as a weapon. He was provoked when fighting Stilson and Bonzo, was constantly controlled by the adults, and did not have the intent of genocide on the buggers.…
