Chick-fil-a located on 1262 Northlake Blvd, Lake Park, FL 33403 is an amazing break from the traditional fast food chains most of us are accustomed to. Sit-In and the Southern Leadership Training and Strategy Planning Conference The Youth Division of the South East NAACP document plans and maps out the future of the Lunch Counter Sit-Ins and Desegregation. The 1960 Youth Division Primary Documents highlight student arrests, demonstrations held by the students in the South Eastern Region, conferences, and plans of action. The document is significant due to it being a written record of what happened and how the Youth Lunch Counter Sit-Ins were formed and organized. While working through the case study, we were asked to calculate the number of calories in Elizabeth’s lunch versus Charonda’s lunch. After converting all the nutritional information over to calories, we were able to see that Elizabeth’s’ meal had a total of 792 calories. Charonda’s meal had a total of 606 calories. Both were high but Charonda made slightly better choices than Elizabeth.…
Providing off campus lunches would decrease graduation rates and test scores because research shows that schools with off campus lunches have a low graduation rates. This is because students are coming tardy to class or they are not showing up at all. Denver public schools have mentioned the idea of closed campus lunches because of their horrible drop-out rates and poor rates of sending students to college after high school.
