My most significant work accomplishments would include: receiving high scores on all pop-quizzes administrated by our trainers, Mindy Kane and Vladonna Petricevic, receiving a 91% score on our pre-assessment. I have received decently moderate to high scores on all weekly-feedback forms to include positive feedback from all mentors.
Once when I was in the field I was able to find a warrant on a father that the CPI Trainee on the case had overlooked.
As far as new gained skills and knowledge, being in both the training room and in the field I feel has prepared me to understanding the mission and the structure of the CPI position. I now know and am completely comfortable with doing pre-commencement …show more content…
The only times I was able to watch an adult interview was at the beginning of my training when I had not yet been taught how to properly interview an adult and unfortunately, towards the end of my training I have not yet been able to shadow and conduct an interview with one of my mentors for that week.
E. My goals for the next evaluation period?
My goals for the next evaluation period include: passing my state test with an 80% or higher, to take away as many professional skills and tools from all future field shadowing days, to be confident in my abilities to perform at all levels of this positon, and to not become overwhelmed with my tasks at hand reaching out for assistance when support is needed.
F. Additional Training:
Classroom training is phenomenal in preparing me for the test to come as well as what to look for in the field. I would say any additional training that would enhance my abilities would be to be in the field more often. That way I would be able to experience more cases and understanding the process on how to handle the steps of each case.
G. Improvement:
The only improvement I would have is that I have one been able to experience three - night field shadowing. I would have liked to had an equal amount of night shift shadows as well as day shift
