My senior year of varsity soccer I was elected team captain after displaying my leadership skills vocally and physically on defense. I allowed her to take on tasks her own way, but kept her focused by endorsing the classroom and courtesy rules. By teaching her to use manners when conversing with other students or adults, stay focused when given a certain assignment project, and always assess the situation thoroughly before acting, I proved to be a “big sister” in this program. Overall, I believe that my leadership roles on a team and in the classroom impacted my life in a positive manner. I have learned to place others before myself in order to achieve a greater outcome, be not only a role model for my school and for my reputation, but for the next generation, and lead others in the right direction in life. Coming away from high school I will be grateful for these experiences as they will always aspire me to become a leader and have a voice in the direction my life has chosen to
