The documentary addressed how insurance company’s reports claims as a medical loss. Therefore, people diagnosed with cancer are a medical loss! This is disturbing, when you consider how much American’s are paying for their health insurance. The claim adjusters …show more content…
The movie explained that government officials and former President Bush received a substantial amount of money to drop socialized health care reform. The movie was a tearjerker--- to witness so many people die due to lack of medical coverage or denial. Michael interviewed other doctors, patients, employees and Americans residing in France, Canada and Cuba. They were selective in whom they interviewed--- this made the documentary questionable within those countries.
Questionable and agreeable observation from the movie:
1. Frances provides the best healthcare and it’s within the top ranks.
2. Cuba is a communist run country and film painted an image of a great place to live. Cuba has socialized healthcare ranks 39 versus the United States ranks 37.
3. Documentary claimed that waiting time in an emergency room, doctor office and major surgeries are minimal. This needs more evidence.
4. Is the U.S. health system extremely barbarous with denials, greed and fraud?
