Sick In Africa Essay
The sick will not be allowed near their homes, near people who do not carry the disease. They will only be permitted to see other sickly people, and they will not be permitted to interact with the outside world. These camps where the sick reside will be enough to sustain life of healthy humans. There will be no medicine, but there will be food, water, shelter, clothes, and all the basic needs humans have. With all the people having diseases being in a relatively small, closed environment, hopefully the diseases will spread like wildfire in the camps, and the inhabitants will quickly and quietly die off as to never be heard from …show more content…
Some people, who rely on medicine to survive, will most likely die off. But, by taking a utilitarian approach, I’ve come to realize that sacrifices must be made. The numbers that die will have a great impact on the lives of future generations. Also, people who have close relationships with those reliant on medicine will have to endure suffering too. They will lose a loved one, but we must understand that these people will only make things worse if we keep them around. They may spread their disease or be miserable for the remainder of their life. We must take into account that the sick are people too, and we will give them the right to carry out the rest of their confined lives, if they are able to cope with the reality that they are messed
