“Music is essentially an emotional language, so you want to feel something from the relationships and build music based on those feelings” Howard Shore. Music is the beautiful creature that people can use to express their emotions. When individuals listen to a song or a piece of music, they feel connected to it. Thus, people have written songs in order share their feeling or the story of their life via the lyrics. There are three popular singers and songwriters who are skillful in expressing emotions and narrating their experiences through music: Oasis, Rachel Platten, and Sia Furler.

She is famously known for her signature hairstyle which covers her face all the time and her amazing voice technique. She is a so-called Australian singer, songwriter and music video director at the age of 40 (“Sia Furler,” n.d.). Sia started her singing career in 1993 with the acid jazz style (“Sia Furler,” n.d.). However, in the present, Sia come up with electro-pop music. One of my favorite electropop song of Sia is The Greatest. This is a single that she featuring an American famous rapper named Kendrick Lamar (“The Greatest”, n.d.). The song was released in the middle of the September 2016 and it is the first song from her recent album (“The Greatest”, n.d.). This song talks about even though you have struggled with numerous problems in your life, you still get the stamina to pass through them. The song was on several well-known music charts such as the US Billboard and UK Singles Chart. Moreover, it has been viewed on YouTube more than 160 million times (“The Greatest”, n.d.).
