The implications of the case notes stated that Eddie was a well adjusted child up until the time his step father became abusive towards his mother. The emotional bond through out his childhood allowed him to be well adjusted in his academic attainment and connect well among his peer group. Currently there is an overall lack of parenting due to the traumatic situation of abuse, Eddie is no longer being raised with guidelines of a nuturing parent and is fearful. The hindrance to "good enough parent" in this situation is Eddie's mother is not properly supported via a partner, has been increasingly socially isolated and lack self determination via employment. All three factors decrease her ability to parent at the current time.…

It is not being followed and he hasn't been assigned to a special educations' teachers caseload. His IEP states that he should go out to the Community Skills Program and to the Cullier Center. I'm also concerned about a student in his Wood shop class that is repeatedly talking about guns and robbing everyday. You stated to me that in reference to the children in the wood-shop class. "that boys will be boys", and "I need to let Herman grow up and be a man."…
“Life is a drama full of tragedy and comedy,” (Walls,2005, p.129). Throughout Jeannette Walls’s memoir, The Glass Castle, the undeniable truth of the aforementioned statement is made blatantly obvious through the hardships the family faces. There are many people who believe the children should have been removed from their home due to these hardships; however, there would have been no relative, lawful, reason for their removal. The children did live in poor circumstances, but poverty is not reason enough for removal. In fact, the Walls children were able to fully overcome their struggles with poverty, and even thrived on the motivation that their childhood living conditions gave them.…
