A school with 100 teachers uses on average 250,000 pieces of paper a month. A school of 1,000 students on average spends between $3,000 or more than that a month on paper and ink.

Many school systems in America are using more technology every year. By having more technology, students are given the opportunity to use computers and the internet to expand their researching abilities. Though technology has been increasing, does it positively affect the students? According to Susan Pink, author of “Can Students Have Too Much Tech,” she reported that students who grew up with modern technology were more likely to fail in academic classes. Although the internet can have a negative impact on students grades, I believe that students should have a limit on how they can use technology.…

The topics of education and technology have always been a center of debate all over the world. These might seem like two separate topics, but the more technology evolves and advances, the more of an impact it has on education, or to be precise the schooling system. I am very opposed to those types of people such as Ken Robinson and his talk “Changing Education Paradigms,” Neil Postman and his “Of Luddites, Learning, and Life,” and Annie Lowrey’s “The Gap between schooling and education.” I think technology has had mostly positive…

Teachers use computers to type out lesson plans, write papers, research topics for discussion, and even grade papers. Of course, teachers would still be able to do all of those things without technology, it would just take more time. With the development of technology, students have had the privilege of getting their assignments done in a faster amount of time by doing it online instead of writing it on paper. With students typing their papers faster, that leaves more room for teachers to teach more. Our society is becoming more digital by the day.…
