Should You Suggesting Ron To Make Changes To His Lifestyle?

Decent Essays
Alex, I agree with you suggesting Ron to make changes to his lifestyle. He has been depressed the majority of his life since he lost his family through a car accident. Ron is 80 now, and he should go out and do things that he never could of done or never thought of doing. You also insists that Ron should stop being so cautious and should be more open to others. Since Ron is depressed, he should socialize with others more because it may help him relieve his depression. You agree with many people where Americans should visit the Grand Canyon at least once. I also think that people should see the Grand Canyon at least once because of its stunning presence. You argue that Ron should stop being so stubborn to trying new things and I support that

Krakauer states, “Astoundingly, the eighty-one-year-old man took the brash twenty-four-year-old vagabond’s advice to heart.” (pg. 58) It’s also said that Ron moved out of his apartment and set up camp on the bajada. This proves that with the letter Chris send Ron about not needing anyone or anything to to find a new kind of light in life or to even be happy, Ron took into consideration what he should…

To experience nature when all you know is civilization is to learn something new about your world and more importantly how it can make you new again. Cheryl Strayed, the author of the autobiography Wild, decided to embark on what she believed could be her life renewing opportunity. Cheryl's life had fallen apart before her eyes and taking a leap of faith, she hoped that not only did she have the power to hike alone the life threatening Pacific Coast Trail, but also that nature was strong enough to erase the atrocities she had endured. Nature has the ever so desirable ability to rid your life of modern things that creates negative distractions and make things new. Nature is the oldest, purest, and most natural thing in existence and is the basis to all things we have today.…

I appreciate your view of President Reagan. However, I disagree that he was one of our greatest presidents. Reagan and his administration had one of the worst environmental records of our modern presidencies. Additionally, during Reagan’s term, the Environmental Protection Agency was lackadaisical in enforcing antipollution laws, and the Department of the Interior was complaisant with profit-making corporations. Hence, the government opened up large areas of federal domain, including offshore oil fields to private development.…

If I had the chance to do the movement then I will help and support it. He also argued people that doesn't appreciate the true nature, was relying on the things that took them to the certain areas of Lake Powell. It seemed that Abbey didn't have much sympathy for the people that contributed and supported the new reservoir. He continued to argue against the defenders defending the likings of Lake Powell. He wanted to "shut down the Glen Canyon power plant, open the diversion tunnels, and drain the reservoir.…

Kevin Fedarko sends a message to his readers that the Grand Canyon is beautiful and it should be preserved. Humans should not continue to create more structures in the canyon because it takes away from the natural beauty, but Fedarko also makes it clear that dams already built by humans have beauty in them too. The message that fedarko wants his audience to receive is that nature and technology can be combined and can create outstanding things, but there needs to be a balance. Humans cannot get too carried away with technology and forget to see the natural beauty that surrounds everything. Kevin Fedarko uses metaphors to illustrate the beauty that is seen in the Grand Canyon.…

Do you think Georgia's Little Grand Canyon should be changed into a national park? Providence Canyon is a state funded park in the state of Georgia. Over the years, the government has wanted to change Georgia's Little Grand Canyon into a national park, instead of it staying as a state park. In my opinion Providence Canyon should stay exactly how it is a state funded park. You may think differently, or you may think it has better benefits of being a national park.…

I think that the campers gained more from the experience at Camp Wiggen than Ron Jones did. I think this because all their life, they had been seen as kids with disorders, and they never got to experience being a part of something that most people would think they coyld not do. Camp Wiggen gave them the chance to do that, and they were treated like normal kids and not kids who were dying. A quote to show their experience is “These kids had never been news. Most had been family secrets.…

There are multiple reasons participating in the Brush Creek Ranch program would be beneficial. I would like to be given an opportunity to visit an area different from the city where stars can be seen and birds can be heard. Living in the city, the sky is fogged with pollution and songs of nature are blocked by noisy cars. My visit to Vermont expanded my love for science and I wish to learn more. While in Vermont not only did I enjoy the energetic birds, colorful trees and beautiful oblique mountains--but I learned scientific context.…

Wallace Stegner’s “Wilderness Letter” portrays the importance of wilderness. Wilderness has always held a different meaning as a child for me it held another world. Playing outside, going to wildlife reserves, and watching shows like “Zoboomafoo” that taught about different animals and their habitat all played a part in my love for it. Experiencing the outdoors should be something that is dome willingly to detach and refresh. The Internet has slowly taken that away from children because instead of going outdoors time is spent staring at screens.…
