No one believes all women can do all the jobs that are required in military combat arms. Military jobs should be based on performance and those who are able to participate in the military and get stuff done right. Yet, the naysayers have probably never worked with dedicated women to even know how they work and so they are just saying no. So they should at least work with them before they just say no. However, the people that say women shouldn’t be able to be in the military haven’t even worked with them the dedicated women who only want a chance to serve and protect their country from harm. Like they might want to protect the U.S. from Isis. It is the women’s rights to be in the military and their choice if they want to or not. “ It works very well as long as women hold the standards they are supposed to hold,” said Colonel Gjerde, who was the commander of Norwegian forces in Afghanistan in 2012. It’s not a big deal because women who go into these fields in combat know the standards if they really want.
