Do you think Woman should get paid equally? Are they treated with enough respect? I think not. Even though I am a 6th grade girl who hasn't entered the workforce, I want to be able to make it happen when I'm older. I think Woman should be held to a equally or higher level than Men because of what we do.
If you go outside and look around you'll see what i'm talking about. Women tend to pay 11% more on regular clothes and on expensive clothes an astonishing 34% more. You're probably thinking it's because of better fabric or better brands, but do we get payed enough to cover that gap? Over millions of single Moms out here struggle for that extra $200 a month just to have some pocket cash. On top of that, glancing at their male co worker's paycheck and then looking at theirs. I think that the people who are below you should only be paid more if they do a better job and put in their hardest. The average Female gets paid $0.50- $1 less than a male in the Minimum wage group. People support this argument, but yet they don't make it important enough to find a solution for it. It's a quick yet hard fix because you can't just raise the salary. But… you could lower the Male salary, but that means a infinite growth in the company which could cause a liquidation and lead to theft.

But the question is, How did the Men get payed more in the first place? They say that WWll started it because of all the men who left. Supposedly the consumers stopped buying the products and everyone assumed it was because the items were poorly made. Obviously people could not acknowledge the manufacturing error. It all started when the simple mishap happened, it shaped Women's future and ruined our Financial future.

This leads to men earning $9,000 more dollars than women annually. This unfair system only further distances the genders and promotes the thought that women are inferior to men. This system is ludicrous as equal work, education, work output, job titles, and work expectation should warrant equal pay. Many declare that the idea that women earn less due to their gender is ludicrous, yet this was disproven as in a 2012 study “ [A] science faculty from research-intensive universities assessed fake résumés from male and female candidates for a laboratory manager position. Though the fictional students’ qualifications were identical, the faculty members routinely ranked the men as more qualified for the job.”…

    Gender Pay Gap Myth

Women work in lower-paid sectors than men do. There isn’t a gap in the pay between genders that do the same job, but a gap between the pay of the jobs that each gender gravitate towards. As a matter of fact, 90% of women are employed in the lowest-paid jobs . This is the reason why women earn less, not because they are paid less for the same job, they gravitate towards lower paid work. Common jobs for men are jobs like software developers, construction and computer system operators; women gravitate towards jobs like nurses, primary school teaching and human resources and administration.…

In society there are many stereotypical roles that have developed in our culture. The key entity to remember about stereotypes is that they do not apply to all, but are just a way for people to come to judgements faster (Brewer). Unfortunately, these stereotypes, particularly those describing women have hindered their ability to be treated equally to men. Many of these stereotypes have to do with the work place and home life.…

Whether it is religion, sexuality, race, or even music taste, people are constantly finding ways to discriminate by differentiating people from each other. One element is gender pay gap--ever since the fall of Adam and Eve, women were always proven to be insignificant compared to men. Gender pay gap plays a negative role--socially, economically, and politically. Although the gender pay gap is a widespread problem that cannot be completely eradicated, society should be giving more of an effort into taking small steps to solving the problem so the future generations could benefit from knowing what is right -- by solving one of the most unfair stigmatized elements in society.…

Such as women leaving work due to childbirth, family responsibility, and career choices. Although these do affect women 's salaries, a major factor of the pay gap is gender discrimination against women. Men have been earning higher salaries than women, with the same education, in the same position, and the same job responsibilities. Women 's choices are not the only cause of the wage gap; gender discrimination is a key factor.…

Women being paid less is simply objectifying, it leads only to further discrimination of all people, it perpetuates the stereotype that men are superior to women, and it leads men to believe these things to be true. The rights of women have come a long way, but there is farther still they must go. There may come a day when it finally rings true that all people are created equal and treated as such, or this could simply be a pipe dream of the common folk. Only time will truly tell if equality can truly be achieved.…

I believe that there are many societal gender issues that need to be addressed but one of the more significant issues is the gender wage gap. The gender wage gap (or gender pay gap) is the term that is used to describe wage inequality among men and women. In recent years, a high degree of awareness has been brought to this issue as more women enter the workforce, obtain college degrees, and climb the corporate ladder. This topic has also received heightened media attention from female celebrities, such as Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron that have publicly detailed their wage negotiations and individual struggles to receive pay that is equal to their male counterparts. The increase in awareness can also be attributed to the rising…

At the end of the day, not being paid as much as a man for working in the same position is going to ultimately dent and hinder household incomes. With divorce rates being so high and single parent families seem to be always growing in numbers, such households are sadly losing out; there is a risk that those households could find themselves quickly falling into the poverty line, with no way of climbing out of it. This hardly seems fair! One thing I would also like to point out is the risk of going to extremes to hire women for certain positions, but who may not perform as well as males who could be more…
