Also, financially stable enough to afford to play. There is more to this like gender equity, is the sport available to girls or could be race related. For instance, I was lucky enough. I had two parents that worked hard to help support and treat their kids. My treat was to play hockey. Hockey is not cheap, but my parents could afford it and they did. They paid for me to play and also transport to where I needed to go. Weekend over weekend, night over night of late practices and hotel stays, my parents did it all and I am very thankful for them. It has brought so many of the best memories I have and some of the best days of my life. Even though sports can be heartbreaking, I am addicted to it competitiveness and how it brings people together. Without the sports in my life I would never be able to get back up when I am knocked down, thanks hockey. It has taught me to love and control anger, to never give up or never let up, to always look out for your close ones, to live each day as your last, to always work harder than the one next to you and always keep your head on swivel

Should women be allowed to play on male sports teams? I think that women shouldn't be allowed to because of safety requirements, and sexaul harassment which would both be a big issue. First of all, male sports are aggressive and safety would be hard to avoid. They would have a high risk of injury, concussion rates in the last year have rose over 20%.There are many different kinds of injuries you can suffer while playing a male sport like you can overheat and pass out, you can tear your ACL or MCL or you could even overuse your body and strain it. Injuries are very hard to avoid and a male's body is built to take a lot more than a girls so our injury rates would increase if the females joined our team because the males are 30% stronger than females which means we have more muscle to protect us from injury.…
