Women are often overlooked when it comes to combat. There have been many conflicting ideas on whether women should be allowed in combat. Some say they shouldn’t while others say they should. Many have argued over the cost of the transition, whether women have to endurance, and if prohibiting them is sexist. The cost of transitioning an all male program to implement women is often said to be costly and inefficient. It is argued that training for combat would need to be adapted to fit the physical demands of women. Many argue that the cost of all the changes required for the addition of women would be highly ineffective.
