Should women be allowed to fight for the country that they live in protecting not only their loved ones but also the many people that depend on the arm forces? This is an out dated question for centuries woman have continued to do their part protecting the country they call home and, with the changing times seeing a female combatant isn’t a uncommon occurrence however, due to stereotypical individuals they feel as though woman are nothing more than a distraction on a battlefield and, are said to lack the strength and, mental fortitude to withstand the constant barrage of stress that would fall upon them but, these statements are flawed. Certain aspects of a woman’s character were put into question a few points that they touched on that they believed were reasons females should not be allowed on the frontlines were the physical capabilities, mental health, and ability to handle equipment. The chances of Relationships between men and, women still find woman abroad. In an interview, I conducted with a Female Royal Bahamas Defense force officer Petty Officer Maxieann, Woodside I asked how she felt about, these factors that they said made women unfit for battle and, she went on to say “A solider Is a solider “. In her basic training to enter the force she had to deal with the same physiological and, physical strains that the rigorous training had to offer while many of the men gave up she persevered to climb the ladder of ranks surpassing many bigger and, more “capable men”.
