The lab researchers pin a puppy's four limbs down to a lab table as it screeches in pain. The researchers, were testing a new medication for diabetes on a newborn puppy. The lab researchers have been trying to find a new cure for diabetes in babies. The new born puppy’s mother was anxiously waiting behind her cage's bars since the minute her baby was born to see him again not knowing he was about to be tested on. This new born puppy would not be fighting for his life right now if animal testing was banned. Animal testing is experimenting on animals to make cures for sicknesses. While experimenting the scientists do have to follow some laws that are provided by the Animal Welfare Act. The Animal Welfare Act is a law that regulates treatment on animals in research. The biggest downfalls to animal testing are that it is not reliable, it's cruel and inhumane, and there are many alternatives. Animal testing should not continue. Animal testing is very harmful and many animals are not treated fairly. For example, there is a 76% chance that animals could die according to PETA. So not just answers that the testers are losing also many animals. Next the researchers are hurting as many animals you get answers from according to Nick News. To support, animals don't have a voice. For example, Many animals get stressed and anxiety according to PETA. Why should all these animals be suffering just for answers? Also some animals are put in cages until needed says Nick News. Finally, animal testing is not necessary. For example there is such things as a chip that represents a human cell. There are also other options, one called the in Vitro method. Next, the last method is the Silico method. There are other alternatives to animal testing and people should take advantage of
