Should We Get Rid Of Phones In School

Would it be better if we get rid of phones? Would getting ride of phones help to stop cyber bulling? Are phones makeing it harder for students to stay focused? These are some of the questions that are considered when we choose to either keep or ban phones at school. In the paragraph below there will be some reasons to ban phones at schools. First up, is deciding if it would be best to keep or get ride of phones. This is not good since it keeps the student from paying attention to what they are being taught. So when they don't get what they missed they then try and cheat by recording the answers and coping off the answers. As hard as it is to admit it, the teachers have a hard time seeing who has their phones out for answers and who is just using the calculator on their phone. It's hard to even tell if they have the phone out in the first place. Some may say the more we push back, the more we separate ourselves from students. It is time to incorporate and collaborate instead of ban and punish. Even if we do unban it, it doesn't change the fact that they will still try and get on snapchat or facebook. While studies to see if this helps students, so far it seems that with out the distraction of the phones. Stuies show that so far the kids with the poorest grades actually improved. Yes, it is true that if kids use phones as a way to study and are able to use them for their homework than they have better chances of learning. Only thats if the students actually use the phones for that. While the phones are supost to help out, whats stoping students from switching from a school app and getting on a game or socail media? It is really hard for the teachers to tell how is and isn't working. Plus, they might have the home work with them, but that doesn't mean that they will still do it. Clearly, banning phones from schools will actually imporve how the students
