The gender wage gap has always been talked about for centuries. It can be since that it started in the beginning of World War II, according to the website Infoplease, There’s an article that speaks about how women were taking the jobs of men since most of them were being deployed. According to the article, “Why are women being paid less?” it claims that female and male jobs were separated in news ads in the early 1960’s and women only received about 60 percent on average then to what a man received as a year around, full-time worker. In 2015, Women were being paid about 77 cents, while males were being paid a dollar. Know imagine if you are a doctor;in the article “The simple truth about the gender pay gap”, it talks about how a male that has a doctoral gets paid about $1,778 weekly while women with the same degree get paid about $1,413 a week.
