Buildings made from different materials, plants grown from different fertilizers, medicines upgrades to prevent sickness, but to what extent will we go to. Genetically modified foods are foods that have supposedly been made better by changing an organism's genetic code. However people don't know how this will affect them later. It could make them sick or even eventually kill them after a long time of consumption. From changing something in an organism's code the organism could react in a negative way that takes time to see. This could be dangerous for humans. Genetically modified foods should not be consumed by anyone.

Genetically modified foods are at a lower cost than regular food and are sold at a higher rate, but what's more important. Your health, or money. Bees pollinate plants to make honey, but now these GM plants are producing insecticides on their own and killing off insects that would pollinate them. After a while these insects will eventually begin to completely die out and no longer be able to exist. With these insects being harmed the ecosystem will change and be thrown off balance.

Given all of these reasons I can't see why anyone would be for something such as genetically modified foods. With how they harm the ecosystem and with what we don't know about them, we could be in danger of something that could harm humans if the correct cautions are not taken. With many things in the world that scientists have done there have been quite a few fails so, they should not expect us to believe we should put something in our bodies that could potentially harm us. GM foods are completely out of the question when it comes to having any common

Genetically modified foods are not able to reproduce for example, once a GMO seed is planted it will not produce anymore seeds for farmers to reproduce more fruits. farmers are forced to go buy more GMO seeds, so economically farmers are loosing money faster then there making it.…

With a booming growth rate, elbow room on this planet will decrease, and our world’s need for resources will shoot sky high. Tom Chivers claimed that 870 million people are already victims of malnutrition and hunger, and that number is likely to rise unless new strategies are created. By utilizing GM crops, areas with extreme climates will be suitable, and food will be capable of growing under severe and harsh conditions (Reveille). The remote villages of Africa and poverty filled streets of India could potentially have hope for a better food supply with this advancement.…
