Should Waunakee Use Water Bottles

Did you know that bottled water can hold toxic chemicals, and it can make people sick? This is only one bad thing with bottled water. Bottled Water is not sustainable, though the people who make it told us it is. Waunakee should ban water bottles. There are many websites about bottled water being bad. According to Christiana Z. Peppard Ph.D. , Water bottles are not sustainable. In one week people throw away about 35 million empty water bottles. If it takes 450 years to biodegrade, one water bottle, and there are 35,000,000 bottles thrown away in a week, just imagine how many years it will take for all of those water bottles to stack up to reach the moon. There are too many water bottles in landfills
