Should vending machines be banned from public schools?
Is it alright to tell your child no when they ask for things as such as $200 sneakers or a $500 PlayStation 4 (PS4)? If you were living in poverty would you give your child the luxurious life or that $0.50 can of soda? According to the National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP), there are 16 million children in the United States living in families with low incomes below the federal guidelines. Vending machines should not be banned because some students cannot afford to buy lunch or sometimes they don't have time to eat at home. The vending machines can also be used to raise money for the school.
First, spending money to buy food can be expensive at times especially when you can't
